Have arrived safe and sound at The Bedford Hotel in London. My first impression of London was the Heathrow, man is it massive. Just to get my bags I had to take two escalators and a train. Then I waited for my bag and waited and waited. Getting a little worried, everyone else is gone. There goes that bright green bag again for the twentieth time , and the dirty yellow one, oh a big black one.... Hmmmm no purple one. Oh I hope my purple one got off the plane. Started to walk around to ask questions and there is was, beside the thing on the floor???? Not sure why, but really don't care just glad it is there. Off to boarder control. "Where re you staying?" They ask. "I don't have a clue" I respond. Not what they are looking for. Good thing I had my paper in my carry on. Forms now done and off to meet Ryan. He was nice enough to wait for myself and the Olson sisters to make sure we get to our Hotel safely.
The train ride (tube) was pretty quick. I loved seeing the house on the way. They look straight out of Mary Poppins. Looking at the roof tops I could hear Chimery chermery chim chim a roo..... . Love the red phone booths, and don't think I want to try driving, this right handed driver thing is crazy.
Love the Olson sisters. They spell their last names differently. Olson and Olsson, apparently when the oldest got divorced she changed the spelling of her maiden name, her sister says she's a rebel. They are so cute, one retired, one soon too retire, I am going to enjoy getting to know them better.
I am feeling tired, excited and a bit over whelmed.
