Innisfallen Island:
We crossed the Loch Leach (means lake of learning) in very rough waters.  Our "captain" was the most entertaining Irishman,  he drove one boat and his son the other.  The boats were pretty small, much like a fishing boat we would rent at the lake, just a little bigger.
Our captain had a very friendly dog named Charlie, looks like a small Irish setter (I don't know my dog breeds) what a life Charlie has.  He gets to spend his days with his master riding back and forth on the boat and while the passengers are wondering around the island he gets to swim or fetch sticks with his master.  We found a bag of treats under the bench and fed them to Charlie on the ride across, how could we not, he was so happy and excited to see us and get treats.  What a wonderful life Charlie has.

Our captain was so full of entertaining stories
He informed us he has never lost anyone overboard, at least not in the last two weeks  lol
or
in Ireland you know the captain does not go down with his ship, he's the first one off.  hehe

well we laughed all the way over to the island and all the way back.  it was a good distraction as the lake was very very rough,  the waves splashed up over the sides.  I love the water and even I was getting a bit anxious, never mind the ones that fear the water.

When we landed on the island the first thing I noticed was the grand Yewtree,  we were told it is 750 years old,  there are very few left on the main land as they were used for bows and arrows back in the day, but this one was left untouched due to its location.

The lake is named Loch Leach, which means lake of learning , the reason is that the monastery on the island educated many kings.  The monastery was founded in about 640AD.   However some parts of the ruins are believed to date back to 200AD.

The ruins were stunning,  the roofs are gone but a lot of the wall structures are still intact, there are several buildings,  I spell bound as I wandered in and out of the ruins imagining all that had gone on in the confines of these strong stone walls, what kind of men had got there learning here, what had they accomplished because of it, what kind of sacrifices were made to get the education, what were the monks like, what had they given up to be here on this isolated island,  the thoughts were endless.

Journey:

We stood in the centre courtyard where the monks would have gathered in prayer.  We formed an energy circle, Cindy instructed us to draw white healing light from the courtyard, the sacred ground. We then were told to send this powerful healing white light to mother earth and all that needs healing. Cindy asked us to get into the knowing. This is my result and my gift from the angels:

"The monks prayed for all mankind until they ascended into the light. They also wept. The wept for the sins and suffering of their fellow man, as the monks were humans, mere humans, they were there for all of us. They prayed and wept for all of us."

It was very powerful, I felt such peaceful security in the courtyard.  They had prayed for us. They had prayed for me.

Journey. March 19, 2014 Seven Sisters Stone Circle

Today we had the honor of visiting the seven sisters stone circle.  It is on private land and the location is heavily guarded so I will not give details as to location in this blog.  Nor will I post pictures on facebook as per the families request. Once we were dropped off we had to go up a very narrow road. First stop was an old stone farm house no longer in use.  We were going to cut thru the yard however one of the people in our group felt and saw an energy almost guarding the yard. She said it looked like Saran Wrap across the openings in the stone fence.  She said she felt is wasn't bad but was not welcoming us, as though protecting the house.  So we went thru the muddy cow pasture.  The ground is very uneven, you can see where the cows have stepped in the soggy grassy soil,  it is exceptionally bad this year due to all the rain.  The family had taken the time to move all the cattle to another field so we could safely make our way to the circle.  What a lot of time and effort that must have been,  we were very grateful.

As we crossed the pasture we could see a grove of trees, I am not sure what kinds of trees as I don't know my trees.  But they were starting to get their leaves, all the trunks were full of ivy and moss, so even without all their leaves they still looked very green, there was a few cedar trees and of course the hawthorn tree that protects the ring.  In front of the grove of trees there is two large stones, they are the portal to the circle.  Sounds very "Outlanderish" don't you think.  Around the grove and the portal is an electric fence,  the family had turned if off and taken a portion of the fence down so we could enter. Once again we were grateful.
The first thing that caught my eye was the fairy tree, once again I am unsure of the kind,  it was more of a big bush, tied to the branches were many colourful ribbons.  Legend has it, you can ask the fairies for a wish, then tie a ribbon on the tree. When the ribbon falls off or rots off your wish will be granted.  There was seven large moss covered stones surrounding a smaller flat moss covered stone in the centre. The centre stone held a small bronze goddess statue and other offerings.

We spent some time enjoying the energy of the circle individually.  Then we joined hands in an energy circle, Cindy's divine team asked us to draw healing white light from beneath the stones. As we all worked together on this I could see in my minds eye the white light swirling in a clock wise direction. Faster, and faster higher and higher, as it was building the wind was picking up, I could hear the wind in the trees, I could feel it on my face, stronger and stronger it blew.  When the team told Cindy it was enough we sent the energy together out the portal to the earth, the land, the people, wherever it would do the most good.  Once this was done the wind stilled.  I am not kidding the wind stopped for a few moments and we could hear the birds singing all around us.
It was one of the most surreal experiences I have had yet.

The seven sisters stone circle, how honoured we were to go thru the portal.
Travel. St. Patrick Days Parade. Killarney

Had so much fun dressing up in red for the parade, we had our banner and all walked behind, then running along side to hand out candy for Canada,  the kids were so excited.  Along the route were some of the shops we had come to know during our stay here. One was the Auld Sweet Shop. Niles the grandson of the original owner had been waiting to see us, he ran inside real quick to bring out his baby son for us to see, he held him up high with the biggest grin on his face,  the pride was so obvious, his father stood beside him with a big smile and wave for the angels from Canada.  Mike our bus driver was in the crowd with his wife , we made quite a spectical of ourselves with hugs and kisses for him, he said later he was the eny of all the lads near by.

The night before the parade was a very lively night at the pub, Maria had song sheets for us , we sang till we were horse.  Tried  my first Guiness which was ok however the Smithwick (pronounced Smidick) was more my liking. I have had one every night since.   On St Patricks day we had green beer, yup I am liking the beer.  Now, I am told Guiness is very high in iron,   (not sure about the Smithwick, but i am going to continue to think so)back in the day pregnant we on we're given a free bottle every day.  Not sure how good that was .

No better place to celebrate St. Patrick's Day then in Kilianry Ireland.

March 15.  Journey/travel.
I am a little behind in my blog, and as I go thru my journal I realized I have not mentioned the fairy ring at Nan O'Sulivans, and if I have well here'd it is again.

The fairy ring is estimated to be from 10,000 to 5,000 BC.  Nan,s husband was clearing the land to start his crops, and two fairy rings were in the finest field.  He proceeded to take down the ditch (ditch not being as we think its more of a mount around the ring like low walls marking or protecting it) if had the first one done and as he moved to the second one his tractor failed so it remained intact.  It is said if you disturb or destroy a fairy ring you will have no sons,  Nan and her husband did have sons but they had a hard time with animals, disease and death until they started to repair and honour the fairy ring that was destroyed.   Nan's husband is now gone, her eldest son has taken over the land. Nan would love to build up the ditch around the fairy ring that is being restored but he will have none of that, He feels it is enough that his younger brother is replaced the hawthorn bushes around the ring.  Many fairy rings ( are sometimes known as fairy forts).

Nan met us as the fairy ring that is still intact.  She has a little mail box at the entrance for donations, but does not have a set fee, she brings with her Pamphlets she has created herself to give us the history of this and other fairy rings.

Standing in the ring you can feel the energy, the magic.  This ring has stone stations, one for each of the seven chakras.  You are to stand on each station and face the seventh centre stone for six minutes to heal that particular chakra.  It was interested as it started with the knee chakras and ending with the third eye and crown combined in the centre stone.  If you were to place a bottle of water in the centre stone for 30 minutes it will become I fused with the energy of the ring that you can take with you.  I wish I had known as I had no waters with me.

I stood on each stone for a few minutes and just took deal breathes.  I felt the energy flow thru my body to each chakra.  It will be a place I will return in meditation for chakra clearing and healing for sure.

I am amazed by the people here like Nan, such sweet souls, so connected to the land, the history, and the mystical world in which they live.  And so willing to share knowledge and time with us.

Travel :

I was able to venture inside St Mary's Cathedral yesterday.  What a beautiful space.  Walking in I was reminded of Hogwarts dining hall,  it should have been Pillars of the Earth but no it was Hogwarts.  The massive stone pillars and the grant chandeliers felt so mystical to me.

I started snapping photos right away not wanting to miss a thing,  the stained glass windows that are truly a work of art,  the stations of the cross, the statues.  There were several places to light candles, and they all had different themes.  One was like a candle opera up on a stone wall, there was one with Mother Mary watching over the candles and a couple of more traditional ones.
As I am walking thru in my own little world snapping pictures I hear a snore,  more of a snort.  This certainly brought me back to now very quickly.  I looked around to see where on Earth the noise was coming from, and I see a homeless man asleep in a pew.  I look upon this man and I get washed with an overwhelming emotions.  I am at peace, I am grateful, I am blessed.  I feel the safety he must feel in this place.  I imagine one of this angels  wrapping their wings around him and telling him, you are safe and warm my child, rest.  I think of a line from a hymn "come follow me and I will give you rest"

It's then I truly look around this sacred space.  I feel the love.  I knelt in a pew and opened my arms and surrendered to my creator.

Travel

Today I conquered one of my fears,  I got on a horse.  I was filled with excitement and anxiety when we were picked up this morning.  Arriving at the stables I took a deep breath,  I could smell the hay and horse manure, it felt comforting somehow, sounds strange as I write it but that is what is was, comforting.  There was eight of us and we had five wonderful young horse trainers accompany us.  Three from Sweden, one from France and just one from Ireland.  They introduce me to my horse Monty.  I liked his name was Monty,  I would trust my Monty back home with my life so I took this as a very good sign.
Time to mount my horse.  They had a stool for us but I could not get my foot high enough. Poor Monty I was leaning on his neck, pulling his mane, and then I remind myself this is a living being you are getting on so calm down.  The young lady helping me was great, she lowered the stirrup and up I went.
There -I was on a horse, OMG I was on top of a horse.   We were given a quick lesson on how to let your horse know what you want and off we went.  Monty was pretty good to me,  he basically knew what to do.
We got out of the barn and around the corner and What!!! There is a road, a real road with cars and everything.  I look at the leader as he tells us were are going to cross the road to the park so stay close.  Well my heart had been pounding since I got on Monty , now I was going to take him across the road. Much to my relief  one of the other horse trailers pulled up and stopped the traffic, like the school safety patrols.  I really started concentrating on my breathe, trying to feel connected to Monty.  It took about 15 minutes before I realized I had not taken my eyes off the Jimmy's butt in front of me (Jimmy would be Donna's horse).
I really started to relax and enjoy our ride,  there was a lake to the right with islands in the middle, huge trees all around, we pasted a pasture with what they called Irish Deer, they looked like Reindeer to me.
So I'm relaxed, enjoying  myself, getting into the grove, feeling free.  One of the trainers comes up by me and says ok hang on to this strap here, get ready to stand and we are going to trot.  WHAT. No one said anything about trotting,  I am pretty sure I am not ready for trotting. But Monty wanted to trot , there would be no stopping him so I hung on tight.  It turned out. It not so bad, it actually was pretty good.  Monty did not like to follow the leader either I think he really wanted to lead but I learned pretty quickly how to let him know where he was supposed to go.

Monty was a wonderful horse for my first ride.  We had a great afternoon.

St. Patrick's Day in Killarney

What a party,  the celebrations started on Friday.  It is a national holiday here of course.  Our hotel has a pub on the main level with live music each night.  So in Sunday once our course was done we joined on the fun.  I drank my first Guinness then moved onto Smithwick. It's pronounced Smidick.  It was much better.   We had such fun. Maria made us song sheets so we could sing along with the music.

Monday we were in the parade, we gave  candy to all the children,  they have not seen that before,  we were told we had to place it In The child's hands not throw it, as they did not want the streets littered.  I loved the children. Their little faces would light up when i would tell them I am giving them candy from Canada.
They will never forget the Celtic Angels from Canada

The family from the Auld Sweet Shop were so cute, as they remembered us,  I think we bought out the store,  when he saw us coming he ran inside the store and brought out his little wee lad , he lifted him up to us to show us his pride and joy.  We felt so honoured he shared with us.  What a wonderful warm community in this town of Killarny.  The Irish are a warm people, I adore them.

That evening we were back in the pub,  this time it was green beer and more music.  I laughed so hard my tummy hurt, it's been a long time since I have laughed so hard.
Today is horseback riding, help me God.  But I am embracing the fear.

Journey

We finished our Angel Empowerment Practioner course on Sunday,  it is named very appropriately.  I am still absorbing all I have learned.  what have I learned:

I have been giving many techniques and tools to work with Angels  heal and  guide clients.

We use cards as a tool for guidance and messages.
Techniques for past life healing,  aura clearing, chakra clearing and balancing, and energy ball release.
I have learned to listen to the Angels guidance to help relay messages to my clients and help them heal in this life, in the Now.

I myself have had many wonderful sessions in class, I have been given many powerful messages.  My mind is really having a hard time absorbing all that has been given and I am still in awe of it all.

I have a hard time putting in words how I am feeling about the process.
Blessed, loved, accepted, honoured, all these words do not seem to be right or enough.

I am doing it,  I am finally connecting with the Angels and I understand what they are telling me.  I am sharing this experience with the most loving, accepting group of people I have ever known.

I am truly blessed, loved, accepted and honoured.

Journey:
We have been learning so many amazing things,  yesterday we did some past life healing or clearing with each other.  I was amazed with what I was able to release.  Lets face it this whole process has been amazing.

I had a very detailed dream last night, and I knew there was a message there for me.  Often, especially when we aren't open our angels communicate they our dreams,  I was not sure what the message was so I "turned myself on" as Cindy calls and it was so clear.  My purpose for the journey was an awakening, and that is truly happening.

Today is our last day of class. We will be doing our last partner reading. The partner we will read with was choosen by Arch Angel Micheal at the beginning of our course.  I am both excited and nervous.  My partner is Ryan which is fitting as he is the first person I connected with on this journey, he is the angel that waited for me at Heathrow.  It will be an honor to read for him.

St. Mary's Cathedral

I have been wanted to visit St Mary's , we finally took the time after class today for a quick walk down there, it's only a few blocks from our hotel.  We can hear the bells chime the hour from where we are.  As we head out the tower stokes six.  Such a sweet welcoming sound.  When we arrive I am taken back by the red tree in front.  It is a massive tree standing very strong at the front of the church.  Many children died during the famine, they are buried under this large grand tree in a mass grave.  I feel for those wee lasses and the parents that had to let them go.  The tree stands as if protecting the little ones buried below.  What a tribute to young lives taken too soon.

We were unable to enter the church as mass had started,  I hope to return to see the I side before we leave.
Journey
Day two of our course.  I am loving every minute of it.  Had a little trouble this afteenoon staying grounded. I felt a bit headed and I felt like i was falling asleep but different from an afternoon slump, Cindy noticed right away and  had Ryan help me get grounded again. He is amazing at it.

Did a reading for J.J. He owns the local health food and alternative healing shop in town.  I have to tell you I was a little intimidated reading for him.  But as I have been taught I trusted the angels and it went rather well.

My reading was very interesting, I am noticing they have the same theme, but it is very personal so I will leave it to my private journal.  I will share that, today we worked on opening our third eye,  when we did this I had the image of a small town store front, just a flash of the corner of a stone window frame.
Today I also experienced twice being tapped., once on my arm and another time on my leg and no one was near me,  this has never happened to me before. Are the angles trying to get my attention, maybe,
Journey

Yesterday was our first course day.  We gave and received our first readings,  I had no idea we would be doing them so quick,.  My stomach gave a big  flip when I heard, it was the fear.  Can I do this, can I hear my angels, I will surely fail.  However Cindy is a very good teacher and I can her hear say trust and let it come.  So I did.  The words started to flow.  Now if any of you have done card readings you will know of the little books that come with your cards, well we had to leave these books at home, so no crutches no help.  Fear!!!  I wanted my little books, but it turned out I did not need them.

My Robins Egg
My reading I was told the angels have been sending me signs and they are pleased I am starting to notice

18 months ago I found half a shell of a bright blue rooms eggs on my front door step. I picked it up and put it a jar, I felt it was a sign of a new birth a new life,  in my reading I asked about the egg, the angels were smiling they were glad I knew it was from them and although it was about a new birth it was telling me I have hatched and I was ready to fly.

So I am going to FLY.

What a wonderful day
Travel roommates

My roommate in London was Kathy,  what an interesting and colourful women she is.  Kathy has taken the AEP course many times, she traveled to Ireland last year, so she is a seasoned veteran which is a blessing for me on this first leg of the trip.  She has a vey large heart, she has three children of her own and has adopted I think she said six.   She wears the cutest headbands, you know the ones that look like small hats.  You will have to take a look at my pictures to see what I mean,  wonderful lady,  wry special.

Cristy without an H is my Irish roommate.  She tells us she was born o. Christmas Day so that will help us remember her name.  Cristy is a very quiet person but slowly I am getting to know here. I feel we are a perfect match.  She is a self published authors, I would love to read her book one day.  She writes about her recovery of two years after a near death being hit by a drunk driver.  She has about ten years younger than me and has never married,  she is a native Calgarian.  She is sweet, ,kind and considerate. I am looking forward to spending g more time with her.  And we both snore lol
Travel : Hotels

What a vast difference in the hotels we had stayed at so far

The Bedford in London was a very old hotel.  Old but quaint  Maria tells us often in London the old grant mansions were turned into hotels.  It is common to have to share a bathroom with other guests.  A private bath in your room is an upgrade. The room was very tiny with twin beds. The toilet was separate then the bath which works well for roommates. It was an adventure to get off the tube and walk four blocks with our rolling luggage in tow to the hotel. Strange site to me but very common there.  Our hotel was very much in the thick of things which made it very easy to get around.

The Maryborough in Cork was a spa and the most luxurious spa I have been at. We were greeting with hot chocolate and baileys.  Our luggage was taken to our room for us as we were being served our hot chocolate.  In our room we found a fluffy robe and slippers.  The room was massive with a little sitting area outside.  The tub was huge, it made Ryan very happy. He stands 6'7" so for him to fit  gives you an idea how big it is.  Every evening we enjoyed the thermal pools, I treated myself to a massage.  There was a full size pool, hot tub and exercise room.  I found a very pretty little courtyard that I enjoyed a few hours in the sun. This hotel was a half hour walk from the little town or Douglas so farther out but we were here to relax and refresh,  this was the setting of course with Maria.  This is where the rest of our group joined opus,  we are no longer 9 were are 23. With 5 more people from Ireland joining just for the Angel course

The Eviston House Hotel in Killarny is a Best Western,  it is more of what we are used to in Canada, the rooms are large to date there has only been twin beds here we have one double and one twin,  the bathroom is smaller but it has a large tub.  Hot water seems to be a problem. The first morning I had the coldest showers ever,  it sure woke me up.
This hotel is on a Main Street in Killarny,  so we are back in the thick of things which is great we can wonder out at night to all the little pubs and shops

The breakfasts have all been consistent. Always an abundance of soda bread which is a dark Irish bread made without yeast,  the texture is very much like a loaf, it is so delicious.  There is always baked beans, black pudding, grilled tomatoes, sausage , back bacon, eggs, plumes, grapefruit, oranges, yogurt and cereal.  Oh and smoked fish.  What a feast.

Travel/Journey

Kenmore Stone  Circle
This stone circle is one of the few that has a stone in the centre.
We walked around the outside of the circle and entered from the east.  I sat on one of the outer stones for a while and just felt the energy and the warm of the sun.  I really had to work hard at staying grounded. Cindy says its our physical getting used to the energy vibration.  Arch Angel Michael guided us to form an energy circle around the centre stone.  Then he had us open our crown chakras to receive his healing white light thru the crown past our third eye, throat and out our hearts to the stone.  We took deep breathes together and drew the healing light out of the stone into our hearts.  I felt guided to direct it downwards along my spine into Mother Earth.   It was very powerful.
At that time some laid on the rock to let it fill them, some cried (the healing release) one of us fainted (more due to the high energy vibration). This will for sure be a place I return to in my meditations.
It was at this circle I was overcome with a very strong sense of unconditional acceptance and love.  I am so blessed to share this journey with my Celtic Angel Family
Travel Murder shafts.

Our driver was telling us about the murder shafts.  Most castle were equipped with very strong outer doors that lead to a room about five foot five that was open up top, it had a other very strong door that would enter the castle.  The purpose was if the enemy managed to batter down the first door you could attack from up top while they tried to batter down the last door.  they would use arrows boiling oil or whatever they could find.  Boiling oil imagine that. What an awful and cruel way to fight a war.  But as they say all is fair in love and war.
Travel. Blarney Castle

What a massive impressive place.
As we walk up the walkway I am overwhelmed with the size of the castle.  We started in a small cave just off the pathway,  I am not sure what is was used for as it would have been for protection.  The watch tower was a curious site as there was no evident way to enter the tower, so we assumed they maybe had ropes they could pull in.

Entering the castle I could imagine what it would have been like in its prime.  The outer rooms are still intact as they are made of stone. The only evidence of the inner floors is the holes in the wall. The wall that would have held huge oak beams to support the floor.  The outer rooms are a accessed by a very slipper stone staircase that is very dark and narrow.  I can't imagine having been a servant hauling firewood and food to The Lord and Lady's in their rooms.
The rooms are of all different sizes with small windows that let in very little light but would have protected from outside attack.

The staircase eventually leads to the Blarney Stone,  there is a elderly man that is very fast and efficient getting you positioned to kiss the stone then up and on with you.

Going down the stairs. I imagined the fun the children of the castle must have had running up and down the stair case and darting in and out the rooms, I could almost hear the laughter and squeals
We noticed when taking pictures at the castle that just before we snapped the photo a purple haze was showing.  It was gone when we took the photo.  Caroline felt it was the purple energetic shield of protection for the castle.

TRAVEL

March 11. First stop is was Saint Fin Barr. It was originally a Monastery,  the first mention of a date was  the recorded death of the Abbot of the Monastery in 682AD so it is at least that old.  It was known to have been a place frequently attacked by Vikings.  I have only watched a few episodes of The Vikings on history channel and interesting enough two of them were repeats and it was on the first attach of a monastery.  So I could image the fear of the monks and the awe of the Vikings to the beauty of this place.  The monastery was become a place of worship with regular mass. It has been renamed Saint Fin Barr.

Driving up to it I was drawn to the cemetery, but our time was very tight and Maria had arranged a quick walk thru at no charge.  I was feeling sad that there would not be time.  Once we went in there had been a miscommunication and there would be a discounted fee to walk thru.  I chose not to go inside but rather wander thru the grave yard in back.  From this vantage point I could get a view of the massive church with all it's glory.  Looking up I could see the golden angel on top of the second highest peak.  The sun was shining on her and she was appeared to just sparkle.   The sides of the church had gargoyles at the end of each roof beam.  Approaching the massive front entrance you are greater with statues of monks on either side.  I felt the were more greeting with welcome rather than guarding.

Venturing to the back I wandering thru the headstones.  Some were flat on what appeared to be a walk way incased in cement. It took a minute for me to realize it was a continuous  row of tombs not a sidewalk.
I was really drawen to a large tree with three tomb stones laying flat circling the tree. The one that called me was for a young wife of 29 years. Mary. She died in April 1815.  The words written in tribute to her were of uncheck love and sorrow.

JOURNEY

Wonderful healing session with Jane.  She told me angels are my thing and I need to give myself time, and freedom to learn, explore and grow. She said I need to do more Reiki and energy work and less "dress making" which surprised me. I had always thought I would give up dental and do more sewing. But having heard that it got me thinking that the dental is more secure and less stressful then the sewing although I love the sewing too. Much to ponder

She said " your chap is more independent than you think, he can certainly cook himself an egg and toast for his supper." In her heavy Irish accent. She felt he was good with me gaining  more independence so i can grow and learn as he will see how happy it I am.  She said he will "get on with it" meaning he will be ok with it.

She said your youngest is very feisty  but her young lad is good with that. He can handle it. They are a good match.  Also all my girls are fine women and I have done good by them

We talked about how I have a blended family and we had not blended well. How I felt I had to hold this family together. However last night when I face timed home those that still live there were planning a dinner together. It made my heart feel good.  She said yes they will be fine it's time or me to be done. It's time for me.
IT'S Time For Me.
I guess I named my blog appropriately.

Journey

We welcomed the last arrivals last night for the tour.  This morning we had our official opening ceremonies of the Celtic Angel Tour.
We started the a energy circle. In this circle you hold hands with your dominant hand facing down giving energy and your non-dominant hand up to receive.  Those that are left handed cross there arms so a giving hand is holding a receiving hand. Once the circle is complete you can feel the energy flow. It is a wonderful feeling. I have used this kind of energy circle before to send healing to people and Mother Earth.

We then shared who we were where we me from and what our intention is for our Journey.  We are such a vast group. Ranging from Cindy's daughter (Cindy Smith is our teacher) who is 15 to a retired teacher from sask. we have housewives, professional, a gentleman who is a doctor. We actually have 4 men on this trip. One young man Ryan is wonderful. I may have mentioned him before. He stands 6'7". And a heart just as big. He has a very strong sight. It's different to feel so comfortable talking openly about these kinds of things. At dinner last night Ryan all of a sudden said get your valuables off the floor as the mischief makers are about and will take them.  We didn't see them but he could. Or at Avebury stone circle he told me he saw the keepers in traditional black cloaks watching over the sacred circle.  He is facinating to talk to. I think I can learn a lot from him.

While I was waiting to share I was going over in my head what I was going to say but when my turn came it was very different. I was filled with emotion and gratitude. This is what I shared:

I attended The Mind Body and Soul expo in Calgary in May last spring. I had heard of Cindy Smith and wanted to hear her speak. Her talk that day was on cord cutting with Arch Angel Micheal. I had heard the term cord cutting before but truly did not understand the full concept.
We get attached energetically to others with etheric cords. Left they will either agitate us or drain us. This energy does not belong to us. We must ask Arch Angel Micheal to cut the cords with love and light and Arch Angel Rapheal to send healing to both parties. It does not mean we are separating ourselves we are just separating the energy that does not belong to us She had a very informative talk and I practice cord cutting daily now.

Ok I have now gone off on a tangent. This is what I said

I heard Cindy speak at the Mind Body and Soul Expo in Calg in May she held a draw after her talk and I was gifted a ticket other Spring fling with Angels   I hesitated going as I would be going alone and very uncomfortable with that however I am learning to say Yes!
Once there I pondered if I  should book for the Angel Empowerment Practioner (AEP) course as I have wanted to take it. But it seemed a big financial and time commitment. 4 days and 888.00. So I did not sign up. Then she talked of the  AEP course in Ireland. Sounded wonderful. But no way.
That evening I had dinner with Mom, Kim,and Lisa. Mother's Day dinner.  I spoke all about the course. Then I mentioned Ireland. They looked at me and said " You need to go, why won't you go". That was my yahha moment. And I started saying yes
I was amazed at the support

I then  told them about THE PIGGY BANK

Joan had heard I was going to Ireland. Like the rest of my family she was very supportive. Her and Renate started collecting loose change in a piggy bank for my trip. I had no idea. I lost Joan in October to cancer and at Christmas Renate gave me the piggy bank. What a gift. What a very special gift

I also shared that although Ron may not understand my journey he supports it, he also started a piggybank with his loose change for my journey

My intention for my journey is to awaken as I feel my spirit has been sleeping. It has only starting awakening in the last few years

Yesterday I had my first sight. We did a fairy meditation and asked they show themselves. In my minds eye I saw a tiny bright green fairy with the most sparkly wings. It was spell bounding

I never thought of fairies before. Just spirits and angels. So this is new to me. Jane tells us to look for Greenman in the trees. She says it like looking at those hidden pictures. Once you get the nak will see him easily.

JOURNEY
My Irish name is Deabora
My fairy name is Meliantha which means Honey Sweet Flower

Today we had our workshop with Jane. She specializes in clearing land and has  written about the sacred spaces in Ireland. She works a lot with the fairy realm.
As light workers we tend to take on physical ailments.  It is the way the spirit world gets our attention to fix what needs to be done.  Sometimes you can be sick for years before you realize that some self work needs to happen. For example she says sore feet can be an indicating you heading back to your old ways. And they will keep getting worse until you take note and evolve forward.  Pain in the middle of your back between your shoulder blades if often spirit wanting to cross into the light thru you heart centre.  Its like they know you can help and will keep pestering you until you notice.

She taught us to protect ourselves  but in a very different way. It's more like a sieve type wall. Three of them and a crystal wall too.  The idea is instead of a solid wall that we will need to work hard at maintaining it is a series of buffer walls with holes so by the time it gets thru it is nothing.  She compared it to an ocean barrier,  if all the force was on a solid wall it would break down, if flow was allowed thru a series of holey walls by time it hit shore it would be a ripple and easy to deal with.

We did a fairy medicine ring.  We took turns entering the ring to ask questions.

It was interesting  knowing me, you would know I am not a leader however Maria was asked to go first and the rest of us were to go randomly. I felt compelled to go next right after Maria but waited and no one was getting up to go,  finally one of the ladies got up , then we waited again.  I could almost hear a voice saying its time go, it's time go, and I still waited, no one was getting up. Finally I got up, had my turn and amazingly then no one waited they all got up quickly one after another. It was as if I needed to go at the beginning.  I was being guided to not follow.  In the wheel we asked three questions
1. What is my life purpose
2. What am I hear to do
3. What do I need to do to be happy and well

The first thing I got was
Heal, help , lead

I will leave the rest of the message I got to my private journal.

I am looking forward to private healing with Jane tomorrow.

Leaving London was a bit heck tick. We lost track of a time over lunch and at 13:42 realized our tickets said the gates close at 13:45. Oops.  For those of you that have been to Heathrow you know how large it is.  So we ran, and ran. Thank God someone noticed we were missing and they held the plane.  We got on huffing and puffing all red in the face. We actually made quite a spectacle of ourselves.  I don't think my heart stopped pounding until we were half way to Ireland.

Leaving England I was so fortunate that the sky was clear.  I could see all the land below. I thought about how old this country is, or more like how long man has lived on this side of the ocean, and realized there is probably not a square inch that has not felt the foot of man.  The land scape below looked like snake skin with all the farmers fields.  Even the hill sides have the same look.  In our course today a comment was mace of how all living things that cross the land leave an imprint.  Once again I think of stories that this land must hold.

As we head out over the ocean I can see the seashore,  I have flown over the sea many years ago but it has always been cloudy so this is the first time I have seen it from above, a very impressive site.  The ocean is so blue you can not tell where ocean ends and sky begins.   As we continue over sea the clouds come in, but not like I have seen before these clouds look like a field of wind swept snow.  This is when I close my eyes to absorb all I have seen and done in the last three days.

I could feel the cabin pressure building so I knew we were starting our decent. I watched out the window to catch my first glimpse of Ireland.  It was so cloudy, the fluffy ones now you would expect. But I watch and wait.  Finally we bust out of the clouds and all I see green so much green.  I knew it was a lush land but I had no idea how much.  It's a bit misty as we land and I realize the moisture is want keeps this land green.

We board our bus and head to the Maryborough Spa. It is an old mansion on an estate that has been converted into a hotel and spa, a new wing has been added so it is very luxurious and modern.  Nothing like we had in London,  we were greeted at the top of the massive staircase and taken to a greeting room while are bags were unloaded and delivered to our rooms.  We were then given hot chocolate and baileys.  In our rooms slippers and bathrobes awaited for when we were ready to go down to the thermal pool for a soak and a massage.  What a treat. Maria tells us to enjoy as in Killarney we will not have such luxuries. our hotel there will be more like what the locals will experience.  She wants us to have a true Irish experience.

Tonight we took a walk to the little town of Douglas (I think) to have dinner. I loved walking along the stone fences/walls. They are full of green vines and plants. One even had a tree root growing in it (see my Facebook post)
We had a lovely dinner. It is an adventure to order as things all have a different name. English is not always English it seems.  Our walk home we got to enjoy a light rain. It was very pleasant and smelled so fresh.  However after thirty minutes we did feel the damp and cold. On my Facebook post you will see a picture of two of us by the fire so cozy. Then off to the thermal pool again to end our evening.

My posts for here on in will be labels a little different

They will either be titled Travel or Journey
Travel will be about the places I will be visiting and experiences
Journey will be the spiritual journey I am on.

I respectfully ask that if you feel you cannot read my journey postings without judgment or ridicule please skip past them.

Waiting:  I  am all packed and just waiting until its time to head down to the tube. It's an hour tube ride to Heathrow. I hope to get pictures this time if the roof tops as we pass thru town.

I don't think I mentioned we went to Billy Elliot at the Palace Theatre. What an amazing place.  You can just imagine the Royals sitting up in the boxes watch the latest production. The detail in the decor is stunning. Deep rich reds with gold trims and the heavy rich red velvet curtains. Just sitting there I felt taken back in time.

The show was  wonderful. I had not known the story before.  I would love to learn more about that time in history.  The young man who played Billy was so talented in song dance and acting.  It brought tears to eyes , no actually the tears fell.  And as you all know that is not like me. But I wax very moved.    What a wonderful night that was.

Restrooms:  who knew I would find restrooms so fascinating. They are cooled "toilets" which seems so crude or the Loo.  They seem to have a shortage of water here. Flushing  is not so smooth as back home. And imagine our surprise when we went to a Loo in the park and they wanted 50 pence to enter. So there we were 8 women dancing around (as it had been quite some time since our last stop) trying to figure out if we had 50 pence each and what the heck it would look like. The tea room had a very interesting toilet. All seems usual until you go to the back. The ceiling got lower and lower  Maria said it was like going down the rabbit In Alice In Wonderland. She was right so of course I had to use that one.  My head almost touched the celling once I got inside.

Took a bus out to Avebury and Stonehenge. When we got to Avebury I stepped off the bus closed my eyes and took a deep breathe. I would smell the trees around me and hear the crows in the trees. Honestly my thoughts were of  Goodsoil. The smell and sounds were the same. Odd half the world away it seems so familiar.  I was amazed at the town houses with thatched roofs. These roofs made of twigs  and straw and will last 80 or 90 years. Once it is time to change them only the top few inches are replaced. The bottom stays original making it as old as the house. The houses are not built of wood only of brick and stone this is why they last hundreds of years. The homes we saw were over 400 years old.  Imagine all lives and changes that those walls have seen.  I stood in near one if these old houses just imagining the stories that could be told.

We continued to the stone circle in Avebury. Unlike Stonehenge you can still walk amongst the stones and touch them, feel them, truly connect with them.  We stood inside the circle and all joined hands and felt the ancient energy flow from each of our hands. Receiving in the left hand and giving from the  right.

Then off to Stonehenge.
We weren't  allowed near the stones as the ground has become unstable with 1,000,000 visitors a year. And unfortunately visitors have defaced the stones or taken pieces. I don't understand why anyone would want to deface such a treasure but can understand wanting to take a piece of this ancient stone home with you.  However even having to keep a distance you can feel the energy.  It is an amazing place. However I was more impacted by the stone circle in Avebury than Stonehenge only because it is not yet commercialized. It still have the feel it would have had centuries ago.

Today was a wonderful day. Tomorrow we leave London with wonderful memories to keep close until I return.

History.  It never was my favourite subject. Nor have ever thought I was even really interested in it. You know the facts the dates. Yes I love historical romances. And love reading about how people lived in Victorian times or pioneers, Vikings, Romans Egyptians... But I never considered it real history. But being here in London I realized history isn't all about the dates. It's the people, the life styles , the heritage. And I find it fascinating.  I have only had an ever so tiny taste and I am hooked. I know I will return to this amazing place some day and take more time to absorb it in.  To look at a building and to see the date it was established. Here they date back to 1800 some even 1600. How they have stood for so many hundreds of years -- hundreds!!!!  The people that have been in these buildings, the energy imprints they have left behind. The stories the walls could tell, and the secrets they hold. Yes History. I will never think of it the same again.
What a day. Got up at 7:00am. When I first heard my alarm it sounded so familiar I forgot I was here.  I opened my eyes and thought wow I am in London. London, that's in England where the Queen is.  And she is actually in residence right now as per our guide. When the guards are outside the residence downtown she is there. Apparently she has never lived at Buckingham palace. She considers that her work place.  Our first real stop was in fact Buckingham Palace. We wanted to watch the changing of the guards.  The crowds were huge.  I saw very little of the guards but did catch the parade going in and out. I was amazed by the Bobbies on horseback. They were shouting " please keep your belongings close as we have thieves and pick pockets here, I am afraid".  It made me think of Oliver Twist.

So much of this place reminds me of the movies I saw as a kid.  The pigeons in the park I heard"feed the birds ... " from Mary Poppins in my head.

We found Big Ben. I almost missed it.  Not sure how that could have been.  It is an amazing sight. We got lucky and heard it dong 2:00. Man I would hate to be up there when it dongs the hour as I am sure you could here for miles.

We were off to the boat cruise of the Thanes River. I went under London Bridge. It is not as impressive as I expected but London tower bridge does impress. It has the most beautiful towers.

I loved the little stories. Did you know that the lion heads on the river wall were placed for flood watch. When the waters reach the lions mouth they would say "the lions are drinking, London is flooding". And then the police would send out warnings

Or why the Green Park had a name change and there are no flowers beds there. Or why are there fancy W and cc on the lamp posts. Well stay tuned. I will be trying to post pictures and answer these tomorrow night.  I need to look up a couple details to make sure I have it all correct as my notes are all over the tourist map. I need to invest in a pad of paper

So much to tell. But it's midnight. We have an early bus tomorrow so to be continued ......

Have arrived safe and sound at The Bedford Hotel in London.  My first impression of London was the Heathrow,  man is it massive.  Just to get my bags I had to take two escalators and a train.  Then I waited for my bag and waited and waited.  Getting a little worried, everyone else is gone. There goes that bright green bag again for the twentieth time , and the dirty yellow one, oh a big black one.... Hmmmm no purple one.  Oh I hope my purple one got off the plane.   Started to walk around to ask questions and there is was, beside the thing on the floor???? Not sure why, but really don't care just glad it is there.  Off to boarder control.  "Where re you staying?" They ask. "I don't have a clue" I respond. Not what they are looking for. Good thing I had my paper in my carry on.  Forms now done and off to meet Ryan.  He was nice enough to wait for myself and the Olson sisters to make sure we get to our Hotel safely.

The train ride (tube) was pretty quick.  I loved seeing the house on the way. They look straight out of Mary Poppins.  Looking at the roof tops I could hear Chimery chermery chim chim a roo.....  .  Love the red phone booths, and don't think I want to try driving, this right handed driver thing is crazy.

Love the Olson sisters. They spell their last names differently. Olson and Olsson,  apparently when the oldest got divorced she changed the spelling of her maiden name, her sister says she's a rebel.  They are so cute,  one retired, one soon too retire,  I am going to enjoy getting to know them better.

I am feeling tired, excited and a bit over whelmed.

Sitting at the Airport. Three and half hours before flight time. I was feeling anxious about flying since a lot has changed since last time - 23 years ago.  . Anyway gave myself lots of time .  Made it thru security. However got very nervous when I had to go thru twice. It was the shoes. So they will come off every time now.  Not too worried about the flight. I have my Gravol, and motion sick bands and since its s overnight flight I should sleep. It surprisingly very hard saying goodbye to Ron. That is just a testament to how far our relationship has come This trip still seems completely unreal. I am in a dream. I am off to London. I am off to Ireland. I am blessed to be able to go this trip.

The count down begins, 28 days and my adventure begins

so tomorrow is my birthday, I turn 54.  I have had an amazing life so far, I have many blessings.  I have four wonderful daughters,  three amazing grandsons, and the cutest little granddaughter.  And I must not forget the son-in-laws and boyfriends,  my girls have chosen well.
I am married to a very tolerant and supportive husband, Ron,  although he doesn't always understand what I am up to  or what the heck I am learning now, he is supportive.  He is loving and just wants me to happy and fulfilled.

I have always said to prevent empty nest syndrome I needed to create a very large bucket list.  So when my house is quiet and my time is my own I can draw from the bucket and enjoy many new things and adventures.

In the last couple years I have taken many courses, that have truly enriched my life.  I have taken Crystal healing, angel healing, drum making, jewelry making, soul coaching, and reiki training.  I have met the most amazing people in the classes I have taken, and some have become very dear friends.   I have many more I will be taking, as I have a desire to keep growing, moving forward, and making new friends.

One thing on my list was to travel.  However I was not sure how I was going to do that.
Ron does not want to travel, so how do I travel single as married women?  Then the opportunity came up.
The Celtic Angel Tour.
The tour takes us to London, and Ireland, where we not only see and experience many wonderful things, we will also become Angel Empowerment Practitioners.  We will be spending four days in class learning how to help ourselves and others.

What more could I ask for.

Three weeks with like minded people experiences and learning amazing things together.

So the count down begins,  I leave on March 4,  exactly one month after I turn 54.

Let the adventures begin. I believe the next half of my life is going to absolutely amazing.
